Already an iconic feature of the Adelaide CBD the AU$1.85b new Royal Adelaide Hospital (nRAH) is the largest infrastructure project in the history of the state of South Australia and when opened will become the most advanced hospital in the country.

The nRAH features a 4MVA Cogeneration system, Automated Guidance Vehicles and the latest in medical technology. With 800 individually roomed beds and 40 Technical Suites (Operating Theatres) the facility will have the capacity to admit 80,000 patients each year, maintaining high environmental quality through the use of Sky Gardens, Inner Courtyards and External Landscaping.

Dome Australia joined the nRAH Project in January 2014 to form part of the Completions Team tasked with assisting in the delivery management of commissioning, completion and handover components. Alongside on-ground staff, the project utilises Dome Connect software for the tracking, collation and collaboration of all criteria required for both Technical Completion and Commercial Acceptance. This comprises of items including but not limited to commissioning activities and test sheets, O&M Manuals and As Built Information and the Green Star sustainability rating system. In addition to HYLC, the team work with over 100 subcontractors to ensure that all documentation is received within project timescales to the highest possible quality.

In addition to Dome Connect, iSnag has been successfully implemented to assist the defect management of the 11,000+ rooms on site. The employment of intelligent locational drawings and automated workflows vastly increases the speed and efficiency at which the defect management process is undertaken, whilst offering the perfect demonstration of the building being defect-free and clean at the point of handover.
